As the season of morning frost comes to a close, stores from home improvement to grocery are setting up displays of seeds in their center aisles. Vegetable farmers have been planning their gardens since January and are now preparing the soil by tilling and fertilizing it to plant the seeds.

Maybe you are not a farmer in any sense of the word and even your artificial plants are looking a little rough! But more important than the condition of your outdoor garden, what is the condition of your heart soil?

We look to the family quilt as the blueprint of, not just a biological family- but a Church family. Within the church, we unite in our Christian faith, as everyone grows in their walks with God. A church family exists to support you in hard times and to join in celebration during the good times. Like the settlers leaving their native home, not everyone has the opportunity to have a huge, biological support system. The church is the family quilt that is represented by the fabrics of different lives.

It isn’t until we acknowledge that this same Jesus, who performed miracles, who was crucified, who resurrected Himself - this same Jesus is both Lord and Christ. Then, we can ask the question, what should we do?
